Today I had a picnic in Centennial Park with a few good friends. We ate, we drank, we chatted about writing. Most of all we soaked up some welcome winter sun. I feel refreshed for what’s shaping up to be a fairly busy week.

Thanks Jessica! It’s been so lovely to have some winter sun. We’re back to rain now, but I suppose it couldn’t last forever, or it wouldn’t really be winter.
That sounds like such a lovely and perfect day. There’s an endless feel to it and it’s presses the point that in today’s commercial world, there are really some things that can’t be bought.
